It's been very hot out here in the desert lately. Driving back from a local restaurant the temp on the car dash said 123 (though I know it must have been under that outside... 114 tops). Getting outside now is impossible, and we hunker in our little house as if it were a spaceship en route to mars: grateful for the life-support, but eager to let the windows open.
