Offer Listings/Making an Offer
I've started accepting offers on listings for certain items. To make an offer you just need to enter your email, the offer amount, and your country. If I accept your offer I will email you directly with a private link through which you can complete the purchase. I'll generally accept an offer within 24 hours, so if I haven't accepted yours within that time it likely means I will not accept it. You can always return and put in another offer.
If you are nervous about making an offer, please don't be. I do not think a low offer reflects poorly on anyone, and I am always delighted to receive an offer even if I do not accept it.
Commissions or held items
I do not offer commissions, nor do I hold items.
A word about color
Actual colors may vary. This is due to variances in hardware: computer monitors displaying colors differently and the camera ccd capturing color differently. I try to ensure that my photos are as accurate as I can get them, but the item color may vary slightly from your monitor. I cannot guarantee that the color you see accurately portrays the true color of the item.
Why do you call yourself XXYXXY?
My last name is hard to remember, and very prone to misspelling. So, when I started my ceramics shop in 2017, I wanted a domain name that was easy to remember. XXYXXY was both memorable and available, and frankly I kind of feel that collections of characters obtain meaning through use. As far as I know I am genotypical (as much as anyone really can be).
Hey I got a postcard from you!
I'll be honest, social media has lost its luster for me. It used to be so fun, now it just seems like basic cable, filled with ads and unqualified hot-takes designed to inspire your ire and keep you entangled. Boring people like me fade to obscurity in a place like this. So I've been communicating to those of you who bought ceramic things from me in the past, and those that are interested in my current work, via postcard.
If you've received a postcard from me and do not want any more, please let me know! Likewise, if you would like to receive an occasional postcard from me please send me your mailing address! You can contact me at .
Where do I stand on NFTs
I think NFTs, like cryptocurrencies, are a scam that prey on those with more money than sense. I will never offer any of my work as a 'digital asset.' If you ever see any of my work offered as such, under my name, that work and my identity has been stolen.
If you are seriously interested in owning one of my pieces, it is very easy. Just purchase an original work off of this website.
Payment Types Accepted
I accept payment via the following cards or PayPal:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners, Japan Credit Bureau, and China UnionPay.
